Work had already started on Book III whilst The Scribe of Blood was in the process of being published but good early progress was wiped out by an unplanned addition to the schedule: wedding preparations!
However, recent progress has been very positive and the book remains on track for publication in late 2012 when the trilogy will be... complete!
